Description

This luxurious silk fabric is crafted from the residual fibres left over from cocoon carding, giving it a distinctive texture. The material is firm and includes short, knobbly fibres along with occasional darker flecks, adding character to the weave. Once prepared, the fabric takes on rich, vibrant colours when dyed with Acid Dyes. Measuring 112 cm in width, it offers both durability and elegance. The fabric is sold by the metre. If you order more than one metre, it will be supplied as a single continuous length, ensuring seamless use for your project.
