Description

H Dupont Essence F is an essential tool for working with spirit-based gutta in silk painting. It is used to thin the gutta, making it easier to apply delicate outlines or intricate designs on the silk. Once the painting is complete and the H Dupont Classique dyes have been steam-set, Essence F is also used to gently remove the gutta from the fabric without disturbing the vibrant colours beneath. This process ensures that the silk retains the clarity of the design while removing the resist, leaving behind only the beautifully painted artwork.
