H Dupont Diluant – concentrated

Enhance the vibrancy and range of your colours with H Dupont Concentrated Thinner. This glycol-based solution is ideal for blending Classic paints, allowing you to achieve a stunning gradient effect across a spectrum of colours, including soft pastels.

The resulting hues will be more fluid, flowing smoothly compared to their standard consistency. When applied, the paint glides effortlessly, spreading uniformly from the centre to the edges. This technique is perfect for creating seamless backgrounds and precise applications within the “notches” formed by gutta outlines.

Unlike pre-prepared thinners, the concentrated version evaporates slowly, prolonging the drying time and giving you ample opportunity to refine your work. You’ll enjoy extended control over your paint, making intricate details easier to manage.

However, the concentrated thinner requires preparation. To use, mix 40 ml of thinner into 1 litre of demineralised water. Gradually blend this mixture with your paint until you achieve the desired intensity. Once ready, apply the paint as you normally would. Clean up is easy, simply rinse your tools with water.
